Why?

So im black. And as you can imagine, the inside of my cooter is pink. My skin is brown, like caramel and coffee. I like it. But my nana? Nope. She wants to be pink on the inside and brown on the outside. The ugliest color combo you can imagine. WHY IS IT LIKE THAT?!? It looks so wrong and I hate it. Why couldn't it just be brown on the inside so my body can look uniform and neat and organized
