Wedding planner disappointment

Hi ladies,

I am feeling really disappointed with my wedding planner. I am in the states and hired a US based planner who alluded to having an Italian counterpart who partners for European weddings. I hired her and have been extremely underwhelmed. We are paying a premium of 45k for her, plus first class flight and stay at 5 star hotel for the wedding. We are 8 months out from the wedding and feel like she has not added much value whatsoever. We are getting married at the four seasons in Sicily. She has not been able to provide me with adequate vendors. I have found the venue, vendors doing my own research and planning. We have not defined the overall aesthetic of the wedding or visual branding. Everything she had sent me seems like a cookie cutter template. Should I be concerned? I want to ask her to use her fee to team up with someone local so it’s more streamlined. How do I approach this?
