A "Truth to Power" lyric from Atmosphere ("My Songs")

"From the start to the done, I never claimed to be right"

• Atmosphere, My Songs (Released: June 11, 2002)

Genius Annotation:

Slug is saying he never once claimed to be a role model, he is not advocating the self-destructive behaviors often alluded to in his lyrics. He writes about what he knows and when you live life like you love to breathe, sometimes it can be morally questionable.
