so did 50 Cent hold onto evidence so that he could use it in his documentary, instead of bringing it to law enforcement?

Please tell me if I'm misunderstanding this but I keep seeing clips of 50 talking about how his documentary will have these insanely incriminating clips of diddy doing some truly heinous stuff that "has never been seen before" so if they haven't been seen by anyone before, even diddy's legal team as he says, then doesn't that mean he withheld evidence that may have actually been useful in convicting diddy? like I keep seeing people praise him online for this to but him wanting to be The One to take him down may have genuinely let this man run free
