Properties blighted by high council tax bands

It is something I have noticed, the banding system seems absurd and all over the place.

Saw a reasonably priced terrace property that had somehow ended up in band E. It was an absurd banding for such a property. Especially with the new mansion tax extending to band F. How long till band E properties are hit?

Bungalows seem particularly badly affected by this. Seen so many that have ended up band D, when house in the same area are in band A and B.

The system seems nuts and I have to admit it does put me off some properties. Since council tax is only going one way. Endlessly up.
