Why Carol is such a bitch

Only Vince could make me want to continue watching a show with a main character as dumb and unlikeable as Carol. Carol seems to have no friends or family besides her dead wife. Even when her wife was around Carol was a drag. She thinks she’s better than the slop she writes but her “serious” book was unreadable. She has contempt for her fans who love her and made her rich. Shes a reckless alcoholic. just the type of person you don’t want to be around. I think Vince did this because even though she’s a terrible person shes still human, so you gotta root for her. Would be less interesting if she was likable
