Qantas Business Rewards - Payment Partners - Are they worth it?

Currently looking into the various Qantas Business Rewards Payment Partners (Payment Logic, pay.com.au, B2B pay, RewardPay). Main interest is to earn additional qantas points for business class travel. However, looking at the fees associated with these various payment methods (1% - 4%), it would appear as though I am better off avoiding these and just buying the business class travel seats. Has anyone done the numbers on these?

E.g. RewardPay charges 3.6% on payments to earn 2 qantas points per $1. So with a business spend of say $500k, charge would be $18k to earn 1 million qantas points (so about a return business class trip Sydney to London, which I can also just purchase for about $10k - $15k.

Numbers don't really appear to stack up. Has anyone got any advice on this?
