Quick Bindings for controller on PC won't work?

This so dumb. I can't set quick binding for weapon quick setting changes? I can set dpad down but not like set a double tap or long tap modifier??? It just doesn't give the option for some reason. Well guess onetwo going in the garbage because the manual switch back and forth is just too cumbersome without being able to set that.
