Huge delay

Today was a complete hell show at Las Vegas airport. Our flight was supposed to leave for Calgary at 8 am. After delays and more delays it was cancelled around noon. Then they put me on a 7pm flight to Calgary. That's bad enough. But I live on Vancouver Island and my flight there is for tomorrow morning at 8 am. That means I will have been sitting in airports for almost 24 hours. On top of that they did even offer me a hotel voucher. So I will be sitting at Calgary airport from 1130 pm till when my flight hopefully leaves in the morning.

They said the reason for the delay was 'unscheduled maintenance' I take that to mean i won't be getting dike in compensation from them. But I still want to try.
