Aita for not wanting to give my friend cash for running out of hair dye while doing her hair

I am 17f and so is my friend in our school district we have a cosmetology class where we do hair. We have taken the class before and are teaching assistants this year so we have a lot of down time to do hair. My friend recently bleached her whole head again and brought in dye for her whole head I offered apply it on her hair. Here is where I might be the jerk I thought it would be enough dye for her whole head and it was not and if I had noticed sooner we could have used dye from the class to add to what she brought. But I didn’t and we ran out about 3/4ths of the way through. I was incredibly anxious and panicking a bit because I could tell she was upset and rightfully so and while I was trying to talk about solutions I offered to give her some money to help pay for dye. I ended up over apologizing and frustrating her and she left early in a hurry and went out to get more dye. I completely understand I should have apologized less and that I was definitely overwhelming her and I have apologized. The problem is she messaged me about it and asked for some money as reimbursement if the offer still stood. I offered to buy her more hair dye specifically or maybe some redbulls because it is a drink we often enjoy together and it’s her favorite. She sort of never responded and only told me that one of the hair dyes is out of stock. I tried to ask again if I could order it online for her right from the website but that I didn’t want to pull out cash because it would end up costing me money to get it out. She hasn’t really replied to anything I have said and gave me a very short reply to one of the off topic texts I sent. I’m worried that I have done something rude or that it was a bad move to say I didn’t want to just give her cash. My intention was to help her with her hair but not to just give her money to fix where I went wrong while doing her hair. Aita for not just offering to give her cash. (She doesn’t have any sort of mobile money transaction apps like Venmo or cashapp and is unable to download them)
