Totally Rational Conspiracy Theory...

Hear me out: Ryan Day lost this game to Indiana on purpose.
He looked ahead at all of the possible playoff scenarios, analyzed each potential match-up, and decided we'd have an easier path to the championship as the third or fourth seed.
So, knowing that we had to lose, and remembering how our loss at the end of last year seemed to give us the motivation we needed for the playoffs, he played to lose.
And as a sign to us true Buckeye believers, he steered the outcome of the game to lose exactly 13 - 10, to remind us of our game right before the playoffs last year.
He's putting together the pieces of a puzzle the rest of us can't even see yet...
