CATCALLING

I just want to share something that happened while I was waiting for a jeep. Nangatang ko sa among usual na atangan ug jeep, and there was this guy na nag-sigeg panitsit. After that he said, “Hi, miss,” but I ignored him. Nag-payong ko ato kay init, and then he tried to lift my umbrella up just to see my face and smiled at me in a really creepy way.

Mind you, I was literally just wearing jeans and an off-shoulder top. Nothing revealing, nothing unusual.

Honestly, di na ko ganahan mangatang didto kay daghan kaayo mang-catcall. Even mga motor drivers, magsigeg panitsit every time mo-labay. It’s uncomfortable
