Anyone else completely apathetic about this franchise lately?

I’ve been a diehard Flames fan my whole life, going to 5-10 games every year and keeping up regularly with forums / prospect progression / trade rumours, etc. Even when they weren’t great in the late 2000’s it was fun watching the offensive flair of Iginla and Tanguay.

This year it’s been different, there isn’t anyone on the forward group that’s worth the price of admission. We only have 1 forward over 0.5ppg. It also doesn’t seem like they are going to be bad enough for a top 5 pick with all the vets sticking around, and Wolf.

After 21 years with just 2 series wins, we’re looking at a long road to be back to a perennial playoff team. Ugh.
