I have 75 hrs on this game, playing on Playstation.

Today’s game-breaking incident: loaded into a Stella Montis match with my 3-man squad, fully upgraded weapons, full attachments, grenades, all the goods… my 2 teammates instantly loaded into the game with no problem. They’re running around and playing, i’m stuck in what seems like an infinite loading screen for 6 or 7 minutes.

I thought if I closed the game, it would count as a quit and I’d lose everything. So I wait, still stuck in a loading screen, while my friends extract, in hopes of us all going back to main menu and resetting.

They extract, and suddenly I load into the game the moment their train door closes. But i’m across the map and too late. 

Confused, alone, and afraid, I sprint to the nearest extract and get on the train. I get out… but as you can see in the video all my stuff is gone. 

Heart breaking.

Tried to submit ticket but even a compressed zip of this video posted here was too large a file for them to accept. Insanely frustrated. I love this game but it needs serious updates. _________________________________ 

These are the current oversights/technical issues/design flaws that ruin the experience, besides what happened here in this video:

1. Why is there not a way to decline joining a “game in progress”? Some people like joining late games. I do not. Why would I want to load into a game where everything is looted and someone is already camping the extract??? 

Instead it should say, “we can get you in a game right now, or click B to wait for a fresh game” At least give me the option please. Loading into late games creates a “extract and reset immediately before I’ve even done anything” mentality which isn’t fun. 

2. Why, for the love of God, have they not implemented a “hold to interact” feature or update so that reload is always prioritized?
Despite multiple hot fixes, they still choose to ignore one of the biggest design flaws, which is: 

Every single time I’m trying to reload my weapon while standing near a zipline, door, or container, it does not prioritize reloading. This could simply be fixed with “hold to use zipline, tap to reload” or “hold to loot, tap to reload” I don’t get it. Myself and everyone I know have died to this multiple time. 

3. In the medical bay in stella montis, behind a closed door, there are small circular cutouts that you can walk through. But the thing is you can’t walk through them, you have to jump.

However, jumping also does’t get you through the hole unless you’re at the perfect angle (or maybe the game just didn’t feel like letting me through) 

With enemies on my tail i’m panicking, spamming jump and can’t get through the hole that I’ve gone through 100 times, making unnecessary noise. They find me and kill me due to the noise and being stuck trying to get through a hole.

*#3 TLDR walking through the hole doesnt work, jumping through the hole only sometimes works. What the hell is going on here, Embark.* 

3. Vaulting. Once again, they should implement a “hold to vault over, tap to climb on top of.” feature. Sometimes I don’t want to unnecessarily vault over something to my death or to take fall dmg. Maybe, I just want to stand on top of it and get a small height advantage. Like standing on top of a balcony railing or something. 

Instead, you have to run diagonally at the railing and jump at the perfect time to avoid triggering the vault animation so you can stand on top of something… silly. 

4. Insane desync. I’ll get shot and see the blood cloud in a position in space nearby when I’m actually somewhere else. Or, people shooting me from behind an open door when they’re not even visible yet. I have good internet so I don’t know what’s causing this. 

Game-breaking glitch. Extracted safely but still lost all my loot... Has this happened to anyone?
