(Spoilers!!) What would've happened if Maddy decoded the Voynich instead of Becks?

(This contains spoilers about the main developments of the series btw) So towards the end of The Doomsday Code, Maddy gets Becks to decode and oncover the message in the Voynich Manuscript coz she can't bear knowing what the message contains, so she gets Becks to do it instead. Then when she asks Becks to reveal the message, Becks freezes and is prevented from revealing it by some superior authority even Maddy can't override. This makes me curious as to what would've happened to Maddy if she had've decoded the message herself. Considering (spoilers!!) we find out she's not a real person, just a meatbot just like Bob and Becks, just with advanced AI to have personality and memories implanted, would she have been affected the same way as Becks, ie she would've frozen and short circuited herself as well until Liam or Saleena comes along and sees her and is horrified by how they see her??? Maybe she made a wise move in having Becks decode it after all
