I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. I am 30, have lost 30+ lbs in the last 2 years and am definitely noticing signs of aging due to losing weight and getting older. My job requires a lot of driving and the heat in the van is drying. I also have to be outside a bit too. I live in southern Ohio where it gets pretty cold. This makes my face, lips and hands very dry. I got a portable humidifier that has helped.

My acne is likely hormonal. I break out primarily on my chin and jaw line areas. I get clogged pores on my cheeks closer to the sides of my face not as much in the center. My acne is not as bad as it has been in the past but, has left me with a lot of texture and scaring. Pics with makeup where you can see the texture and scaring and without to see the breakouts etc

•Makeup remover: Ponds cold cream

•Face wash(in the winter I alternate mostly La Roche Posay cleansing oil and DHC deep cleansing oil. Sometimes La Roche Posay hydrating gentle cleanser. About once a week in the winter PanOxyl Acne foaming wash 10% benzoyl peroxide, use only the gentle cleanser and acne wash 3-4 times a week in the summer)

•La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 spray(I use the thermal spring water in the summer)

•good molecules hyaluronic acid serum

•the ordinary Niacinamide 10% zinc 1%

•first aid beauty ultra repair face moisturizer

•good molecules yerba mate eye gel

•La Roche Posay anthelios aox antioxidant serum with sunscreen (I do not wash my face and apply this in the morning before makeup)

•For my lips I alternate la Roche Posay lip balm, the ordinary lip balm, Aquaphor and Dr. Dan’s cortibalm

I sleep on a satin pillowcase and dry my face with wash cloths I only use for my face and wash with scent free laundry detergent.

I would love something for wrinkle prevention/treatment but because my skin is so sensitive and dry in the winter I worry about adding in anything else. I would love to use a retinol product.

Makeup note: I have tried not wearing makeup and many different foundations. I breakout the same with no makeup as I do with the products I use currently.

I’ve tried prescription topicals, antibiotics, chemical peels, dermaplaning, facials, birth control and many many over the counter things for acne. The only thing that worked was hydrafacials. This is no longer feasible for me due to time and financial constraints. One day I would like to get on accutane.
