I dont believe suffering is good for our character

"Sufferings produce perseverance and character" while literally millions of people kill themselves because of it every year.. i don't think people really understand what real suffering is and i talk about when you have nobody no money no help no health while being depressed and being suicidal while the world throws at you so many test for years! and you still need to "persevere" while we could just end it whenever we want and if we are not saved we will burn for eternity i just think everything in life about suffering sucks and i don't care if it gives "rewards" in heaven when we didn't even ask to be born and to be a part of eternity i don't understand God excuses behind all of that, even if in the bible it says that the suffering we are experiencing now cannot be compared to the joy that's coming i think that's fake i don't believe that in any way and don't think it's worth it
