Crabs - Poker like card game

Im not sure if this is the correct place to post. But i created a newish card game called crabs a while ago, and have been wanting to share for a while.

What you need. 2-4 players, and a standard 52 deck of cards.

Rules.

  1. Before each round, shuffle the deck

  2. Each player gets 5 cards. The River also gets 5 cards face up

  3. Going clockwise, each player has ~15 seconds to decide to either swap one of their cards with a river card, or skip.

  4. When a player swaps, the card in the river is played face up

  5. If for an entire loop, everyone skips, the round ends, and all players show their hands. Whoever has the best conventional poker hand, wins.

  6. Repeat for however long you want.

This is simple, uses the hand mechanic from poker, and can be taught in 30 seconds. :) I hope yall enjoy playing this at the next game night or whenever!
