Duke winning is gonna make conferences change their tiebreaker procedure

Super conferences are really fucking stupid. Having 16 teams play 8 or 9 conference games with no divisions and the top 2 go to the CCG is a broken system and it's the system that every fucking conference has now because of realignment.

Of course conferences don't care about that. What they do care about is money. The ACC will lose a minimum of $4 million because Duke won the conference. That's the prize for getting one team into the field and not winning a game. I think that conferences like the ACC and Big 12 will change their tiebreaker procedures because of this game (the SEC and Big Ten don't have to worry about getting left out). Within a year or two the next tiebreaker after H2H will be CFP committee ranking.

I'm basing this off the time the Big 12 brought back their CCG because Baylor and TCU were left out in 2014 after Ohio State won the Big Ten title game by 59 points. These conferences are insanely reactionary.

Anyway, bring back divisions. Conference championships were more fun with divisions
