a few days ago I posted asking if any driver here has sued uber and here's what I learned
probably none of you ever have and given the thousands upon thousands of people who view and use this sub means one of three things
the process is too involved and requires too much commitment so almost all drivers accept the damages uber causes whether that is an ongoing pattern of stolen tips, denied contractor earnings, or wrongful deactivation and just walk away with a smile on their face thank you may i have another
or
uber is virtually sue proof meaning you are likely to lose almost any claim you make against the platform and lawyers have repeatedly chosen to deny these cases because of this
or
no one wants to disclose they have sued uber regardless of outcome because of non-disclosure in mediation or other privacy concerns they might have even though they can remain somewhat anonymous sharing vague details here
it was an interesting discovery and I have been watching it to see what the result was. so far, no one here has or will admit to having sued uber. very interesting.
