Can someone explain why some of the community is so accepting of gay for pay

Why are people ok with straight people using them for their money? I’m just confused because I see one too many pornstars who are so open about being gay 4 pay and it makes me physically cringe, and then I look at the comments and they’re…accepting of it? Do these people not have a spine?Why is this acceptable? I’m just genuinely curious.
