I'm from Malaysia. This subreddit name buffled me a bit and it's a funny encounter.

Yesterday, I was checking whether my traffic summon is compoundable. Then I noticed a post from this subreddit discussing about traffic offence.

Then I checked the subreddit name, oh, bayar-ea (bayar means pay in Malay language), I initially thought this a Malaysian subreddit discussing about online payment, including traffic summons.

Sooner, I just realized most of people are talking about San Francisco. Then I checked the description again, oh, it's bay-area.

Funny mistake I made 😅
