Seeing myself in another location before vibrations

Haven't had an out of body experience for a while. Was even beginning to doubt that I can do this and getting a bit of an impostor syndrome. Anyway, this time I noticed something pre-OBE that has happened to me before, but I didn't take much note of it before due to the lack of content to it.

So there's this really strange component of before being able to OBE, in some instances I appear to be elsewhere in a half-conscious state. And where elsewhere? It seems to be predominantly laying in a bed that is in another location than where I'd normally be. Once I get the vibrations (and this is before I OBE), I seem to get back to my original location and OBE from there.

Ok, so where was this pre-vibration location this time? Well, apparently it was outside. I was sitting on a wooden chair in sunny weather with grass on the ground. This is unusual because normally I'm lying down in a bed in one of these other locations, but here I was sitting. Another thing that was unusual was that here something actually happened, as opposed to just me lying in an empty room. A group of people, whom I perceived to be some kind of religious group joined me. They also sat down on chairs next to me and started singing some kind of a religious hymn that had a similar tune to "happy birthday to you".

But then I got curious. What are the lyrics of what they are singing? And I tried to make it out. Turns out what I heard couldn't be any language I could understand. But they sang something like "Thee bee wee twee need you." I sat on that chair listening to them for some time. And at the same time it seemed like I somewhat aware on my bed.

Then the vibrations came along and I was no longer in that outdoor grassy place sitting on a chair and listening to these people sing. I made my usual exit right where my bedroom was and ended up in my bedroom, no outside grassy area in sight.

Now, it would seem to me that these "other location" events that precede OBEs might be some sort of dreams. However it seems strange that I'm always stuck half-conscious in bed or this time in a chair when in normal dreams I am able to roam around even if I'm not lucid at all. I also seem to be in a similar bodily position in these "other location" events - in this instance sitting on the chair in the same body position as my actual body is in an inclined position on the bed for OBE attempts.

So what's your take on these "other location" events that sometimes precede the vibrations for me? Am I just dreaming? Or looking at some alternate reality where an alternate me lives in a different location and is also trying to OBE? I'm a little stumped on this because I can't seem to interact with those situations in the way I could interact with a dream or interact with my imagination.
