Wasn't interested in the series before, but Octopath 0 got me lookin'

Been a JRPG fan for more than 3 decades now and I've played a isht ton of 'em. But somehow, Octopath hasn't grabbed me. Perhaps because of the separate narratives and its similarities with Bravely Default (which I didn't like at all). I may be way off base with my impressions of it, but these are what have made me decide to pass on the first 2.

However, Zero is looking really good. It's said to have a more cohesive story and has a fun little town-building mechanic (huge fan of Suikoden games). All reviews make it seem so amazing. Some have hailed it as their fave of the series.

I'm looking to get the game sometime next year. And if it is indeed fun, I may give Octopath 2 a shot.
