Comment on Guy I am Dating

So I met a guy on an app. We chatted for a bit and he was quick to ask to meet up, which I like, rather ask the questions live. His profile said he had kids so I knew that going in and would get the full story when we meet.

I searched him on are we dating the same guy for my area and a recent post popped up from about a week ago. There were two comments from girls saying they just started talking to him and he’s recently divorced, but no other comments, which is generally a good thing because the bad ones are usually inundated with comments. Then someone wrote a nasty comment under him that he’s a narcissist who will tell you everything you want to hear and flip on a dime. When I went back the next day to show my friend, the comment was removed.

I try take some of those comments with a grain of salt since it could be a disgruntled ex, so I went out with him last night. It was a lovely date, we got along great, super sweet and nice, aligned on alot of values and life things. He said he got divorced bc his ex cheated on him. But I’m a little reluctant to believe him.

What do you think? I guess proceed with caution?
