RX 9060 XT 16GB ASUS PRIME 3 FAN OC EDITION, high temperatures? Does warranty apply?

Tech Support

With my own CASE, which in any case I know does not have good air dissipation, you can see it better here: https://imgur.com/a/NhxRHG7 and well... I have had 2 GPUs throughout my life before this one, but from Nvidia, perhaps it is very outdated, but since 2017 I have understood that Radeons are always very hot, but I think it is strange.

Normally my GPU does not reach 99% in almost any game since I play with vsync and it still does not reach 99% usage, while my other GPUS:

  • GTX 1060 6GB ASUS PRIME 2 FAN OC EDITION: My first BB, at 99% regardless of the change in ambient temperature, always gave me 71°C max, It only started to give 75°C+ when it was close to dying next to artifacts. u u
  • GT 1030 GALAX 1FAN GGDR5: I still played games from 2017 and some indies, I think the best I could play with it was Diying Light, but at max it was always 61°C

My RX 9060 XT is practically a family of my 1060 6GB, but even having 3 fans and without reaching 99% as such (94-96%), it reaches 75°-76°c while playing, in other forum they told me that it is normal and that I should not worry so much about the temperatures, but AHH.

On YouTube I have seen people with my same GPU model, but with temperatures over 64°C,

Although their CASES were more spacious and especially with 4 to 6 fans, do you think that if I bought one the temps would improve? Is this something like the luck of silicon in CPUs where each GPU can be cooler than the other?

Another thing I saw is that my GPU has a 3-year warranty with ASUS and, when I wanted to register it, it was expired, even though the 9060 was launched in July...

I notified the store that I bought the GPU from, they looked at my case and then told me that apart from the one-year warranty with them, the brand's 3-year warranty also comes into effect,

But with the store itself that I bought from, is it normal or is it a bad sign?

This really surprises me, since I didn't even activate the factory OC of the GPU with Asus GPU TWEAK 2, the GPU works with its factory frequencies, I don't want to imagine what temperatures it would have at 99% if I activate the factory OC, it could set my house on fire. xd

Please help me :(
