Getting new detergent after pods run out and am very confused.

So many choices in these threads, it is daunting. We are not sensitive to anything and I like a scent. Dry would be better than liquid so I could make packets. I get pretty dirty with cooking and hubby gets dirty doing all kinds of things. What would be your suggestions? Are the specialty brands any better than Tide Plus Ultra Oxi Powder & Biz?? Add citric acid??

Is there anything to stop static cling once I run out of dryer sheets?
