Performance maintenance cost vs Long Range.
Hey everyone, I’m looking to pick up a used Tesla Model Y (GCC, 2023 or newer) soon. I’ve noticed the LR and Performance are going for pretty similar prices, so now I’m trying to figure out the real difference in maintenance between the two.
From what I’ve found so far, they’re basically the same. People say the Performance ride is slightly stiffer but barely noticeable, and you lose around 30–40 km of range, which I don’t mind.
What I really want to know is the maintenance side, especially tyres. Is it true that the Performance tyres wear out way faster? Like LR lasting around 50k km while Performance only does about 30k km? Anyone here with real-world experience?
Also if you’re looking to sell yours do let me know. My budget is around 100-110k max. I want to pay all cash. Car shouldn’t be used more than 60k km and I want white interior
