Codex"s greatest strength?

I use both Claude Max and a GPT pro plan.

I'm working on 4 projects simultaneously.

I can hit my limit with Claude by the end of the week of o really push it but I usually only go through max 50% with GPT 5.1/Codex extra max high, mainly because I use this less than Claude.

I use Claude more because it plans well and works through it but I find with GPT you keep having to tell it to do every detail and the plan gets a bit lost.

I use GPT to check Claude's work and do deep dives into production readiness and optimizations.

For heavy users of GPT codex what areas would you say it excels on and is definitely a must over other agents?

I use the GPT pro web app with research a lot to planning and bouncing ideas before implementation and that is game changer.
