My(20M) cousin(21F) is acting weird and I don’t know what to do

I’ve never posted before so idk if this is the right subreddit, but I need some help.

I’m 20M and my cousin (21F) from my dad’s side has been acting weird lately. Our families aren’t that close, so when she started texting me one night, I thought it was normal cousin-to-cousin chatting. But recently it’s getting weird. She puts a heart emoji in every freaking message.

I know she struggles with depression and takes meds, so I don’t want to just ghost her. But it’s becoming uncomfortable, and my dad’s side of the family are huge drama queens. They once thought I was dating my dad’s cousin’s daughter ,she’s five years older than me and I don’t even know her name. So if they find out about this, it will definitely turn into drama.

I don’t want to hurt her. So… what should I do?
