Name for a second boy that goes with Caru

We’re expecting our second boy and are struggling to find a name we both love. I’m white (Irish and French-Canadian descent) and my husband is Indian, so we’re hoping to find something Indian-ish that’s still easy to pronounce in both the U.S. and U.K.

Our first son is named Caru, nickname Ru. We love that it’s short and sweet, and we’re hoping to find something with a similar feel for his brother. Meaning matters to us (though it’s not a dealbreaker), and we’d like to avoid names that are extremely common.

For this baby, we’ve been especially drawn to names starting with A and are currently considering Aris, Ashwin, and Ashlan. We’d love thoughts on those—pronunciation, vibe, pros/cons—as well as any other suggestions the community might have.

We’re open to names with Indian roots that aren’t strictly traditional, as long as they’re intuitive to pronounce. Short, soft-sounding names tend to appeal to us.
