How would Tamlin wield lightning/thunder magic?

Hey everyone, it's me ya boi. I'm currently writing an anti-villain Tamlin fic where he's about to enter his revenge arc AKA crash out.

I can't spoil why he needs to be able to wield electricity but I want to know how he would wield it.

Options:

1. Using wind magic, Tamlin creates air with static build up and releases it. Not strong but decent like a taser

2. Tamlin pulls a storm from the X men, created thunder storms and shoots himself with lightning before shooting it out. Powerful but damaging to himself to an extent.

3. Tamlin stores lightning into objects and uses magic to shape them. Finite and weak but usable.
