The job centre now require proof of my 35 hour per week job search. How do I do this?

The work coach didn't exactly explain very well how I go about showing proof. She just said that the job searching I do now requires evidence. But I'm finding this hard to do because a lot of the jobs I apply for via indeed.com, especially, only require a quick click application as I already have my CV uploaded on the site. I am not highly skilled or have a degree, so I'm basically looking for minimum wage right now to get my foot in the door again after some long term unemployment and caring for a parent.

Also, any phone calls I make to companies, such as restaurants, etc, how do I prove I've made the call to enquire about job vacancies? I'm a little stuck with it all, and given they want 35 hours of job searching (which in itself is difficult enough) I don't know how to fill up those hours of job searching if the job applications mostly require quick applications that are just the press of a button to apply. It's stressful enough being unemployed, so the added stress of potential sanctions because I haven't met the required 35 hours is worrying me. Any advice would be great and helpful.
