B1/B2 visa India(Hyderbad)- Was able to schedule OFC but Consular booking option does not show up

Little background- This was supposed to be a dropbox few months ago for my parents, but missed the 1 year mark by a few days by the time I was able to get an appointment, but got it anyway. Parents were sent back saying we need to go for a consular interview as its past 1 year of visa expiry.

Haven’t been able to find a slot after that but yesterday I was able to book an ofc appointment but the consular appointment option didnt/does not show up after that. I got the OFC appointment for this Tuesday. Should I send my parents to the OFC appointment even thought they dont have a consular appointment booked? Does the option to book consular appointment show up after the OFC appointment is done? Because right now I only see ‘Appointment confirmation’, Manage Appointments’(ofc) and ‘Manage Applicants’ options on the website, no option to book consular appointment.

Did anyone have to encounter a similar situation? How did it work out?
