is it normal for your friend to tell other people what you just said to them?

17F sometimes when talking to my friend 17F she tells other people what I just to her. Btw I used to not have many friends due to a lack in trust in people. Is this normal for a friendship, because it really pisses me off. She has done it multiple times, not just to me but others too. I tried to move on from the first time she did it, but she keeps doing it. I've asked she does it, i forgot what she said, but I actually trying to something about it. I asked someone else if this is normal and they said yes. There is no way this is normal, it just does sit right with me. I don't think she has bad intentions, but she is very unselfaware.
