Either The Lion or The Bear Will Eventually Eat Me

There was this bear and this lion, and they each had a room/cage that they had to go in at night and it was my duty to put them there. They were still fairly young so they still loved me and listened to me, but I knew that as they grew older they could become dangerous.

Over and over in the dream i put them back in their rooms/cages and the doors and latches were a bit flimsy so on occassion if I didn’t latch it just right, one of them could get out and I’d have to coax them back in.

During this process, sometimes I’d get very close to one of their mouths and notice the ferocious teeth and the potential there was very frightening.

I wanted to say something to whoever put me in charge of this, like that this is not sustainable, that one day one of these animals would realize what they were capable of and I would be fuckin toast. The situation that I was in caused great alarm within me.

The lion at least was whitish/albino and pretty exotic looking. The bear could get out of his cage by himself sometimes.

One time I put the lion in and as soon as I closed the door I could see the metal door bulging outward as the lion pressed all it’s weight upon it because he desperately wanted back out.

Each time I put them in there, talking baby talk to them to get them to cooperate, I wondered if this would be the last time that they’d cooperate with me. I felt like I was in a lot of danger and that this needed to change like right away.
