Sshl how many years Till CI

I had sshl and have a moderate loss on paper but have some robotic voices. I can get 80 word score and I have 4000 and 8000 at 60 loss. I am 40 years old.

How many years till a cochlear implant? Eventually due to age my highs will probably slide into 70s-80s on hearing tests. I guess they could try frequency lowering for a while.
