How can I help Haiti prosper

as a Haitian-American. My dad is Haitian and I've never been to Haiti, although my Haitian family and I are supposed to visit in the next few years. I've seen a tiktoker, don't remember her name, but she visited Haiti to help with the canal. I would like to do something like this, but I want to ask Haitians living on the island. I don't know anyone living there at the moment, everyone I know is living abroad. So, any suggestions?
