Is there any benefit to having steam (steam not the games) on the SSD?

Question

So, I always moved my most played and performance intensive games to my SSD since it's obviously faster and everything. But today I wondered, should I move steam itself too?

I would've already done it if it was simple but from what I heard you gotta practically delete the entire steam folder except for a few things to copy paste meaning I'd have to reinstall all of the games that I still have on my HDD.

So yeah, is it worth it to move steam to my SSD? Like does it offer any improvements at all?
