Game crashes when turning OFF frame generation. Help ?

Hi all. Like the title says. I'm trying to turn off frame generation in the settings, but whenever i do the game crashes.

I've looked online but i've only seen articles about crashing when turning frame gen ON. not OFF.

anybody else had something like this and fixed it ?

thanks in advance
