A question: Is their any other country where Doctor Who is as popular or at the very least comparable to its populatity in UK

I mean we all know, it's no big secret that doctor who isn't really popular outside the UK. People watch it but it is nowhere closer to its popularity in uk or the popularity of marvel and dc. Its a very niche subject.

Even in us it only rose to some popularity with Matt smith.

Most of my post engagement is also from uk. I even posted about in in my countries nerd subreddit and didn't even get a single reply.

So the question, is their any other country where it's atleast comparable

Edit : i didn't know that it was popular in states. Because everywhere I have heard(or read) has said that it became popular during the matt smith era thei
