Laptop says it's on but wont turn on

Problem:

Recently, my laptop power LEDs says it's on but the screen won't turn on. The laptops power LEDs are lit up, along with the num lock, caps lock and FN lock being on but dimly lit.

The laptop won't let me power off using the power button, it does turn off if I hold the power button but clicking it once turns it on and back to the previous situation.

It was working completely fine before, it was fully charged, and had no damage on it before or could have gained damage . I simply was using the laptop one night, closed the screen, put it away, and the next morning I took it out and this issue occured.

This happened multiple times before but it somehow fixed itself, this time it's been going on for a day now.

Laptop specs:

I don't remember much of the specs, I only remember it was a Lenovo IdeaPad, I'm pretty sure 120 but idk. Doesn't say anything on the laptop and I can't access settings to check due to the issue.

Things I already tried:

-I tried to turn the brightness up Incase it was somehow set to 0.

- I tried turning it on and off.

- I tried numerous solutions relating to pressing specific button combinations and pressing buttons for specific amounts of times, and doing sequences of actions, I don't remember the specifics of everything I tried, but I tried most of them, and nothing worked, it always did nothing or returned to the same situation.

- I opened the bottom of the laptop and disconnect the battery for a certain amount of time, I reconnected it but it returned to the same situation. I also disconnected and reconnected two other connections down there that where supposed to restart the laptop or something after a specific amount of time.

- I waited along time for the laptops battery to die, it did, I waited a while before charging, it returned to the same situation.

I really don't know what to do at this point. The laptop is really important, I can't afford a new one and I can't afford getting it looked at by a technician. Any idea how to fix it?
