Image validated by Numista -can a hobbyist submit to RIC?

I believed I has a coin for which there wasn’t an image in Numista or RIC. I submitted to Numista and it was validated. For a beginner, kind of a cool feeling,

Does anyone know how or if you can submit such a thing to RIC? Or does Numista do that?
