The Bomb: How dangerous Kushida is...? or how useful she is.

Everyone knows that Kushida holds many secrets, weakness, or important information not just from her class but to the other classes as well. What most fans failed to understand is the danger that Kushida has if she explodes, and how useful she is if properly used.

First, how dangerous she is?

1. She can destroy a whole class

We already know from her past that she destroyed her own class when everyone discovered about her secret. The damage was not repairable that it remained destroyed until the they graduated. Back then, everything was destroyed, so I think we can agree that they are only waiting for the school to end without doing anything.

2. She is a two-faced person, who can easily deceive most students

Persons like this are dangerous, they are only kind to you because they have hidden agenda. They can make you open your secret to them. I don't think Kushida asked for the secrets, I believe it was shared to her by the others because of her personalities. Maybe some are obtain through 2nd person, for example, person A doesn't like person B, B will share all bad sides of A to Kushida and vice versa. Note, the chance of Kushida being friend of A and B are high. Also, as an example, the time she used it to gain the old exam from their senior back at Y1V1, Kiyo's reasoning can't bargain much but Kushida's two-faced worked well.

3. The secrets she holds can make the school intervene

Her secret's magnitude can make the school move. For example, back when Kiyo posted the informations she got from Kushida(can't remember if those posted are only half truth or a mixed of truth and false), the school needs to interven because it can destroy the morals of the students. It was only believe as rumor back then, and saw the effect of it. Ike was about to punch Haruki because of Shinohara. Can't just reduce the moral but can create chaos.

4. Even Kiyo believe that it's so dangerous that he decided to expell Kushida

When Kiyo asked Kushida a few of her secret, one of his purpose is to test it's danger and he observe how dangerous it is and he decided to expell her.

5. The effects on her own class maybe x2,x3, or more compared to the other classes

Before, we know that their class are class of defective students. When we say defective, broken students but can be repaired. The cause of them being defective might be a dark past. No one can argue that it's just a "secret". Even a class leader like Ichinose need to skip classes just because of her secret. And if it's not for Kiyo, she may continue longer. In the case of Mii-chan, it's just a having a secret crush but since she's so shy about it she have to skip classes as well. So what if some are the dark pasts, maybe some will voluntary exit the school for sure...but I am sure they will probably in a mess for a few months.

So, that's how dangerous that bomb is if it exploded for me. It is so dangerous that it may stop any classes without Kiyo reaching class A if it explodes.

Now, let's talk about how useful she is if used properly.

Her good personality is very effective

I think out of everyone, the one who has a lot of friends is Kushida outside their class. Compared to Ichinose, Kushida's goal from the start was to make a lot of friends and thus she will approach you first. Unlike Ichinose, she will only befriend others naturally but since she is beautiful and approachable, she also has many friends. I think Kiyo also mentioned that Kushida is the most popular student in their school. So, her fake good personality is so effective that can make her so popular with others.

Her informations can be use as a strong weapon, a weakness of ther classes

She know some weakness of other classes in terms of student. Maybe not all, like the class leaders or their closed friends, but Kushida's information can be a weakness of other classes. For example, back at Y2V10, the 4-class battle of the 2nd year, when Horikita's class is attacking Arisu's class, she struggled a bit at some point who to nominate, Kushida has suggested a name to knowing that the student is weak at that topic.

Kushida might be the best information gatherer

Since she's gathering information as a friend, it will come to her naturally without forcing it. Also, having more friends, making the chance of information coming to you higher. She may not have friend in thier class, but she still has many friends outside their class. Now that she becomes vice, it may add to her weapon to gain more informations.

Her secrets from other classes can be a weapon against them

You can correct me if I am wrong but I think the one posted by Kiyo back at Y1 was 5 rumor each class. Where did he get those informations? From Kushida. So, Kushida also holds weapon against other classes. Even if I am wrong, given that she got many secrets from her classmates, the possibility that she also got from other classes is there since she got them as a friend, not as a classmate.

I think this is all the usefulness of Kushida. I didn't mention her academic and physical ability because those are given and clear that she's better than most students.

Of course this is related to Y2V5, before you complain why Horikita choose to save Kushida, ask yourself as a reader first if Kushida is worth saving, or worth expelling. Is it alright to make the bomb explode at that time or save it and try to prevent it from explosion? I may post another discussion related to Y2V5 alone soon.
