Get rid of free kits

Getting rid of free kits is the best way to give everyone what they want. Tired of rats in every game? Can't do any of the large PvE content? The fact that people would have to craft or buy, even the equivalent of a free kit, is a deterrent to jumping in and trying to PvP 15 times in a row with no consequence. But, it isn't a strong enough deterrent that nobody would and it doesn't create two separate games. The most satisfying PvP encounters I've had have been completed kitted 3v3s. Is anyone really enjoying the 1v1 with a free kit that has no sim or movement, "hiding" near extract at the end of ever solo?
