Has it always been like this or are things more strained between us?

Discussion

I ask this because the amount of Red pill type nonsense that is spewed on here and other platforms gives me pause. Especially among the younger ones, late 90s &00s.

I’ve tried to call back to my own classroom at high school and college and I don’t remember it being this extreme. Don’t get me wrong, women were constantly being called hoes and other regular acts of misogyny occurred but there wasn’t this doomer attitude and feeling that the two genders were enemies (sorry my queer friends, I’ll have to make this binary just for expediency)

Nowadays you see kids so young complaining about how all women are hoes and just want money and it’s unfair because the men will die alone and I thought this was just a Western thing but given the popularity of Shadhaya, our youths seem to feel the same.

I wasn’t tall or rich or muscled in high school or varsity and I definitely didn’t date the ”prom queens” but it was not all that difficult to find a pretty girl whom you liked who liked you back.

Same for all my friends who had similar characteristics as me.

Have things changed that much?
