What smash bros do I play to get back into the series (on steam deck)

Had the opportunity to play the original game on a n64 yesterday and I had a blast, it reminded me of when I used to play ultimate on my old switch before it croaked which gave me an urge to play it, but I also got a urge to play brawl and melee again and I don’t know which one to choose. Which one would be best to emulate/get back into the series with.
