Vodafone seems to be pushing eSIMs over physical SIM swaps

Looks like Vodafone UK is moving more towards eSIMs, and some stores aren’t doing physical SIM swaps like they used to. Makes sense for modern phones, but a bit frustrating if you still want a proper SIM. Has anyone tried getting a physical SIM in store recently, and did it work?
