Retaining existing kunos supporters
I’m coming from ACC and I know ACC is getting close to the end of its lifecycle. I’ve got iRacing and LMU as well, but I’m trying to figure out what my next main sim will be.
Evo is actually pretty solid as a GT3 platform. The biggest issue right now is the empty lobbies and the small number of available cars. Kunos should really be thinking about player retention before LMU or something else pulls away the GT3 crowd.
Instead of spreading players across a bunch of different racing classes, they should limit this trial period to the most popular ones. That would keep the lobbies fuller and matchmaking easier. If they don’t, people will try it briefly and just drift back to the sims they were using before. They should focus on carrying over their existing ACC user base, maybe even incentivise upgrades from ACC with free DLC bundles for current players.
Overall, Evo’s gameplay feels better than LMU for me. It just needs a more polished and focused approach
