Affects after surgery

Im recovering from a seton surgery and one round of tightening. The tightening is hurting worst than the initial surgery, but still a manageable pain. My question is, has anyone found anything they've taken for granted while healing from surgery? For me, it's sneezing. I never realized before how sneezing affects your entire body, I'm literally scared every time I sneeze because immediately after I know I'm going "OW" 😂
